Adquin 15% is a broad-spectrum antibiotic in long-acting injectable solution for the treatment of diseases caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and mycoplasmas.
FORMULA: Each 100 ml contains: Enrofloxacin 15 g, Vehicle q.s. 100 ml.
INDICATIONS: ADQUIN 15% acts effectively against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria that cause respiratory, digestive, genitourinary, skin, muscle and bone infections; Gabarro, Actinobacillosis, Pyometra, Leptospirosis, and Listeriosis, as well as Mycoplasmosis in cattle (beef and milk), sheep, goats, dogs and cats.
DOSAGE:
- Conventional dose: Bovines (meat and milk), sheep and goats: 1 ml/30 kg of body weight (equivalent to 5 mg of Enrofloxacin per kg of body weight), every 24 hours for 3 to 7 days.
- Single dose: Bovines (meat and milk), sheep and goats: 3 ml/60 kg of body weight (equivalent to 7. 5 mg of Enrofloxacin per kg of body weight), repeat after 72 hours if necessary.
- Canines and felines: 1 ml/30 kg of body weight (equivalent to 5 mg of Enrofloxacin per kg of body weight). At the discretion of the Veterinarian.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Intramuscular, intravenous or subcutaneous.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
- Do not administer this product 7 days before slaughtering animals intended for human consumption.
- Do not use milk for consumption or for the manufacture of dairy products until 4 days after the last application.
STORAGE:
- Store in a cool, dry place between 15 and 30°C.
- Protect from direct sunlight.
- Dispose of by incineration.
WARNINGS:
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Do not administer this product intramammarily.
- Do not administer to dogs under 1 year of age or felines under 8 months of age or in the development stage.
- Do not use in conjunction with chloramphenicol, tetracyclines, rifampicin, theophylline, non-steroidal analgesics, and/or caffeine, as antagonism may occur.
- Do not apply more than 15 ml to the application site.
