Adquin 10% Oral is a broad-spectrum antibiotic in oral solution for the treatment of diseases caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and mycoplasmas.
FORMULA: Each 100 ml contains: Enrofloxacin 10 g, Vehicle q.s. 1 ml.
INDICATIONS: Adquin 10% Oral is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial with a bactericidal effect, indicated for the metaphylaxis and treatment of infectious diseases caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, mycoplasma and rickettsiae that affect fattening, breeding and fighting birds.
DOSAGE: 1 ml per 2 liters of drinking water is equivalent to 10 mg of enroflaxacin per kg of body weight, every 24 hours for 3 days. At the discretion of the veterinarian.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Oral, medicate in the drinking water to be consumed within 24 hours.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
- Do not use this product 5 days before slaughtering animals for human consumption.
- Do not use eggs from treated birds until 5 days after the last application.
STORAGE:
- Store in a cool, dry place.
- Protect from direct sunlight.
- Dispose of the bottle and any unused contents by incineration.
WARNINGS:
- As with any drug, this product may cause allergic or hypersensitivity reactions.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Do not use on animals with known hypersensitivity to the drug.
- Do not use on animals undergoing growth.
- Do not use in conjunction with β-lactams, aminoglycosides, macrolides, tetracyclines, fosfomycin, thiamphenicol, and florfenicol. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
